Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation

Last week I decided to purchase the Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous foundation as it was 50% off from The Warehouse, which made it only $10! I have been wanting to try this foundation out for so long but never got around to it. I think I may have found a new favourite, every day foundation!

I purchased the shade 105 - Classic Ivory which I believe is the lightest shade. I decided to go with the lightest one as the foundations I purchase usually oxidize, which this one did on me. The colour matched me perfectly after it had oxidized.

The foundation comes in a squeezy tube and the product comes out easily. It does have a scent to it but I can only notice it when applying and it isn't unpleasant (to me).

The texture and feel of this product reminds me of a BB cream as it is very lightweight, but this foundation has very good coverage. I would say that on my skin, it is a medium coverage with just one layer but it is build-able to a fuller coverage too.

This foundation is definitely a matte finish. Even though it is matte and I have dry areas on my face, it didn't cling to them which really impressed me. The longest I have worn this foundation without touching it up was around 10 hours and it still looked fine by the end of the day.

Note: I use moisturizer and a primer underneath, and a matte setting powder over the top of my foundation.

Overall I loved this foundation and I would definitely repurchase! I don't have any negative things to say about this product as I found it to be a perfect foundation! :)
