Kylie Lip Kit Dupes

Last month I purchased two Kylie Lip Kit dupes from Aliexpress to see what they would be like. The real Kylie Lip Kits cost $29 USD which is around $40 NZD, and doesn't include shipping. I got two lip kits online for $5 NZD each with free shipping just to try out. I purchased the colours Dolce K and Posie K.

The packaging is pretty much identical to the real product although the colour on the box is slightly off. I also noticed that the fake lip liner is quite a bit longer than the real one.

I really liked the colour of the Dolce K lipstick and it glided on the lips easily, whereas the lip liner was very creamy when applied as a swatch on my hand but did not apply to the lips very well at all and you really had to force it to go on.

Then for Posie K, the lip liner was very creamy and easy to apply to the lips, but the lipstick was streaky and a really strange colour compared to the real one when applied to the lips.

Both of these lip kits looked matte but they never actually dried. They were very tacky and made your lips stick together so bad! I only wore them for a couple of minutes as they were uncomfortable. I never had high hopes for these products as they were so cheap and I knew they were fake.

Disclaimer: I know that with fake products you can never be sure what ingredients are actually in them and how they are made. I only purchased these lip kits for a review and to help those who are not sure if they have bought (or are buying) something authentic. :)
