Kleancolor Madly Matte Lipstick

I recently purchased two Kleancolor Madly Matte Lipsticks in the shades 1604 Winterberry and 1603 Majesty. There are 48 different shades in their matte lipstick collection. I purchased mine from Postie+ for $5 NZD each, and they are also available from www.kleancolor.com for $1.99 USD.

I really like how there is a wide variety of shades that would suit all different skin tones. A few of their shades are quite similar so you wouldn't have to buy every shade, unless you really wanted to. They come in all different red, brown, blue, purple and pink tones.

When applying these liquid lipsticks, they go on very smooth and creamy to the lips. They are very pigmented and are also buildable if you want an even more bolder look. When you build up the colour, it is not noticeable and doesn't go cakey or anything. These lipsticks do have a slight smell, but it is not unpleasant (to me) and not noticeable after applying the product.

The one negative thing I found about these lipsticks is that they do not dry completely, it's kind of weird because they look matte but when you press your lips together, they are very tacky. Out of the two shades I bought, the shade 1604 Winterberry is so much more sticky compared to the other shade. I felt like the shade 1603 Majesty was no where near as bad and it was still wearable.

Overall I reckon for the price of these lipsticks, they are alright but could definitely be much better. I hope that some day they will fix the formula because I was really disapointed with the tackiness and stickiness of these matte lipsticks. Some of the shades might be alright, like one of mine was.
